Biography

Vincent Reed started his career as an antique furniture restorer in the famous Brighton Lanes. Realising his passion for the trade, he naturally progressed into starting his own business in 1989, soon building a loyal customer-base through high standards of work and customer service.

He was inspired by the idea of making oak refectory tables from ancient pit-sawn timbers, which led to the opening of the showroom in Keymer. As his knowledge and experience of period techniques developed, he naturally expanded his services to include architectural restoration.

Now incorporating Country Oak (Sussex) Ltd, a business which has been established for over twenty years in the supply of period timbers, Vincent Reed offers the full range of services for the period property.
