Vincent Reed

Vincent Reed started his career as an antique furniture restorer in the famous Brighton Lanes. Realising his passion for the techniques and traditions unique to this declining trade, Vincent branched out on his own and started his own business in 1989, soon building a loyal customer-base through his superior standards of work and dedicated customer service.

Vincent was inspired by the idea of making oak refectory tables by hand from using ancient pit-sawn timbers, which led to the opening of a his first showroom in Keymer. As his knowledge and firsthand experience of period techniques has developed throughout his career, the business has naturally expanded , incorporating Country Oak (Sussex) Ltd, a business which has been established for over twenty years in the supply of period timbers to private clients.Today Vincent Reed Ltd offers a wide range of specialist services to provide the complete architectural restoration service you can benefit from today.
